So I removed my turbo and dump pipe yesterday and after 7 years of being wrapped the dump had pretty significant scaling inside and out. Nothing bad enough to create a hole but you could tell that it was copping some abuse over time.
As I said, that's after 7 years of being wrapped and it's only mild steel anyway so you'd expect it to rust at some point...
