Hey guys I have a rvr ssg and I want to achieve 200kw at the wheels as a daily plus still be reliable. The engine has 120,000kms serviced every 5,000. Never had a problem

So far I have done :
3inch turbo back exhaust
Fmic 2.5inch pipping
Evo 3 aftermarket intake and K&N filter
560cc Evo 8 injectors (still need to install)
Td05 20g (needs to be installed)
Fuel pressure reg (to be installed)
Walbro 460lph
Rvr ssg ecu that has been socketed but I don't know how to get a hold of a eprom

Can this setup achieve 200kw

Maybe cams to open up the breathing, similiar setup with cams can make 220kw atw. Stock cams might get there. Just saves cramming more boost in there. My 6 bolt made more power on 12psi after headwork, then stock head at 21psi. Fair to say that was more than just cams, but u get the idea.

Eproms are pretty old school aye. Unless you know someone burning them or are doing it yourself, I would look at using an EVO 7+ ECU instead. So many more features, functions and tuning capability. Not to mention every Tom, Dick and Harry tunes them these days

Your setup sounds similar to mine- which made 221kw on 21psi. I wanted to run a few extra PSI but had boost control issues. I would look at upgrading your clutch (if you have one) suspension and tyres for anything over 200kw rather than trying to make it go faster. TD05's come alive over 20psi. IMO they are one of the best turbos you can have for a street car.

I'm trying to keep a budget build as I'm not a rich man and can't afford a real ecu hahaha... I have a button clutch only 500kms old so pretty much new

And I have new kyb shocks all round and springs...and 2nd hand brembo off a Evo 7 laying around... My only weak point is not being a ecu guru ... I can install parts wire up a car but when it comes to ecu I'm clueless

You can pickup a late model Ecu for a couple of hundred if you keep your eyes out.
The wiring part has been talked about heaps on here also.
As Dre said..there's plenty of people who can tune them too...Burnzy comes to mind down your way..he is a gun with 4G63s from what I have seen

Is it hard to get the rvr to start on a Evo 5,6,7 Ecu? I know a few wire needs to be swapped but that's all I know.

It will run fine if you use an EVO AFM and 560cc injectors. The tuner can sort the rest out later. The EVO AFM/MAF's flow a lot more than stock so would be a worthwhile upgrade.

Do SSG's have single pot front calipers? Personally, I would sell the brembos and spend that money towards an EVO ECU. It will end up being a lot more reliable and fuel efficient than using a chipped ECU. Don't forget you will have to get the board socketed plus you would be a be a fool not to replace the capacitors while it's out and apart- it starts to add up. You can get an OBD2 port from any late model magna at the wreckers for s.f.a. Once the pins have been swapped out, you're away laughing.

I also strongly recommend data logging. I use EVOscan myself. It's awesome for the price.

Which part of Melbourne are you in?

I'm in chadstone pretty central of everything.

Vr401 is going to write me a chip just to get me going then slowly get my hands on a new ecu and afm..

Vr401 was telling me to log my car when I get my chip and email him the log so he could tweak it ...so yeah I have no logging stuff so still in that process on getting Evoscan and 1.3u cable...

Be careful if you're planing on buying late evo ecu you need open port 2.0 cable with evo 5 and 6 ecu or 1.3U is fine with 7 and 8 ;)

I figured that sometimes the cost of going late model Evo ecu was close to going full aftermarket second hand.

By the time you buy an afm or sd, cable and ecu itself you are at about 500 dollars.

Look hard enough and there are links, motec, haltech, autronic ecu's at this price.

Either way, if budget is your limitation, ensure you don't let this restrict your build and future goals for the car, whatever that may be.
