hi flow cats

Whats everyone thoughts on hi flow cats? Preferences?

Am getting the exhaust system done this week and the exhaust shop
Recommends I get a hi flow stainless steal cat over a hi flow mild steal cat.
He says it gets better flow.

I somehow dont believe that, all I believe is it will last longer?

The stainless steal 2.5inch hi flow is $ 320.
