Hi all,

I've been a member for some time, but often found that when posting questions etc. many forums can be somewhat abrupt and not too helpful. I have had some issues with my CC GSR and the help I have got fromt his forum has been overwhelming. Time to formally say hello then!

I have been a long time MMC fan. My first car was a CB GSR 3 door and when buying a complete Evo 2 motor back in 1998 disaster struck when the motor was delivered to me with a massive crack down the block. I was disheartened and eventually sold the car. I always have been a fan of the Evo 1-3 shape and even until today clean Evo 1-3 examples make me drool instantly :) I live in the western suburbs of Melbourne and look forward to catching up in a meet.

Today I own 3 cars. I have a CC GSR, an Evo VIII MR which is a my daily ride and a 1972 Mazda RX-3. Let's just say I can't help myself when it comes to cars. Some pics attached:

Hi welcome to the forum!

Is it me or an optical illusion with the rear bumper of the MR skewed/ melted etc?
Im a bit WTF!?

Welcome mate, great choices in cars, especially the RX3 :)

I was thinking the same about the rear bar on the 8, then realised its been edited to get rid of the plate :p

Thanks for the kind comments.

Yes I put a lighter to my number plate area and melted the plastic for a unique look :). Just clearing out the number plate and the tool I used made it look quite odd.

Hey mate, welcome!

What are your plans for the GSR? I used to own one the same colour. They are awesome!

Sorry to say it but I think the RX3 is the best out of the lot!!!

I've honestly always had a soft spot for mazdas. Especially old school RX's and new school RX7's...
I've considered trading up for the GVR4 but I don't think I could ever do that..

I was thinking the same with the rear bumper, lol. I thought it was a custom kit you had.

How much power is the little RX3 making anyway?

We are having a little meet this Sunday.
You should come and say hi.
