How many are there? is it just the one near the clutch/brake pedal?

I'm going to put an EBC in tomorrow, is it bad to drill new holes in the firewall?

It's also a complete son of a bitch to get to on the other side. You have to pull out the entire glovebox.

I ran most of my wires in through the steering arm hole. There's heaps of extra space I just drilled a hole through the rubber grommits on the bottom side of it and ran the wires, they never touch the moving arm so it's a nonissue.

If your only running a couple of wires the speedo cable gromet has a small nipple on it you can cut off then run your wires, this will keep them water tight aswell.

Try to use the engine loom gromett where you can just remove the washer bottle.and poke the rest through.
Speedo cable grometts are desighned for you guessed it speedo cables.
And remember whatever you do make it servicable for mechanics like me.
And keep your firwall sealed from engine bay noises and fumes.

If you have a look at the speedo gromet you will find an extra nipple that does nothing (and is well clear of speedo cable) that is perfect for a sealed wire going from engine bay to dash. so speedo grommets are good for things other than speedo cables!

Besides like they said its a bitch to get to the dash side of the main engine loome.
