Home made bead roller tool

Hey guys found this on a website somewhere and have it a go

You need a pair of vice grips
Muffler clamp( same size as your piping to be rolled, I used 2.5 inch), discard the U bolt and nuts.
A washer

So pretty much you weld the washer to one side of the vice grip jaws, and the half of the muffler clamp you kept to the other jaw.

Line the washer up so when clamped it lines up somewhere close to the centre of the muffler clamp.

When you put the tool on the pipe tighten the grip as required and just move it around the edge of the pipe clamp and unclamp then turn and continue

Haven't used it yet, I'm on call today and had to go out just after writing this thread :/ will get back to you on that one lol

I just get the tig and run a couple small welds, for the rare time i actually need to do it, eh.

I wrap a ring of tig filler wire and tack it in place.

I put 4 or 5 little blob lines it's not there to seal it there to give th clamp something to hold
