dont get me wrong this looks nice and all but for todays purpose and for cop reasons its definately not what i want.. plus i got enuff rice on my car already let alone putting more in the engine bay.....

lol... i could show u my engine bay... apart from the resart heat shield for the exhaust manifold... it looks 100% stock
i couldnt say the 3" intake pipe of the GOLD and mafless, and the silver cover instead of the snorkle is stock
and saying it makes 260kws i dont think its too bad now if i only could use all that power for good.

Your looking at its CURRENT setup..
I have already told everyone it will have.
3 1/2' intake (GOLD has 80mm snout)
Anodized or painted matt black.
It will HAVE an AFM.
And a plastic replacement intercooler spray bottle from another car will cover the plate that the intake pipe goes into and also the AFM.
So basically you will just see this intercooler spray bottle and loom for AFM with AFM attatched... yes it will look stock.

I think these days, with the newer cars, alot less needs to be done to make them go fast.
The main ones making MONSTER power are the XR6t and GTR's..
They do an all day every day 350kw's..
Same with the Supra's and other large capacity engines..
These days cops are so switched on that they know how to look for an aftermarket ecu and even go to the extent to look for the ecu itself.
But even if you guys do get busted, it wouldn't be that hard to go stock.
Our cars on the other hand, if we get snagged, it's either get it engineered or race car only!
Plus the late model EVO's are everywhere now.
Would the cops even look at them anymore?

i agree with you there bazang but look at the colours of cars now they are coming out in brighter colours which are more eye catchy and hence attract more attention. along with the bling people are adding.

95% finished not really happy with how it all works/looks.. so i think i might just run an open pod in the engine bay with that duct feeding directly into it...

Late model EVOs have less chance of being pulled over because they are the norm these days that they blend into the surrounding cars easier (if you see something time and time again you become conditioned to it). Cops focus their attention on the ones that stand out and the ones with the "P" plates on them lol

I am actually happy with how it turned out and if u think i used pvc pipe i think u got rocks in ur head.. its made out of mild steel but will be finalised in alloy once it comes off the car. (will use the current one as the jig).
