how to tell if they are forged

Hi guys im new here but have a dumb question, how do i tell if my pistons in a 4g93t cc gsr are forged???

Circlip rings on the gudgeon pins.
Clean up the piston tops, i have some pics in page 1 or 2 of my members ride of oem to compare with.

Hard to tell without pulling the engine apart....

Thanx ejack, yeah its standard its stamped 93d so im guessing it is thanx for the clarification where can i get cheap forged rods and pistons

93d are the standard pistons 100%

Yep stock pistons only package ive seen for forgies ie pistons and rods tofether is from spool. They are cp postons to match stock compression and rods

Hahaha true deep down we are all a bunch of dicks hahah yeah i checked out the spool imports and it 1300 for.rods and pistons im doing a full rebuild anybody had any experience with the brand Duratech they do cams and rods thats the next question it seems the cams for 1 4g93 are @###ing expensive lol

300kw+ atw i already have a td05 16g haltech sport 1000 bigger injectors i think they are white plugs walbro in tank pump now just need forgies and a tune im guessing i was thinking cam and cam gears but now im confused lol

300kw + atw from a 93 is going to be like driving around a hand grenade. I had cp / spool combo 16big 23 psi and ps1000,was lucky to be pushing 180kw atw. The amount of boost, lift and timing needed would be easier to get out of a 63 for a longer engine life. Just saying......

It made 170kw on 19psi with standard internals and stock cat back exhaust but the cat hollowed out i have changed all that now ill put forgies and see how it goes it should make some.power shouldnt it??? Anythin over 250kw atw im happy 300kw is the goal
