i paid nothing for my motor... was free with the 4wd, sleeper looks & robust rally bred chassis......

8 cartons for a shagged motor.. not bad i suppose.

roger it looks like you are receiving less negative comments than when you started,if you could only stop bragging about what times etc the car will do then you will actually be taken seriously and people will have an interest in your car

if you could say "i hope to get into the 11s" and "i hope to better than other vr4 powered cordias" then you will get respect,it has to be better than constantly arguing with everyone

alot of the time its just better to build the car and run it down the strip and run the times you want to and then post up pics and times etc without talking it up before hand

if you want disscussion before hand and post up the in the build process pics etc then just leave out what you expect the car to run and let its eventual times do the talking

If you were that serious about having an 11 second car, you would just go out and buy that Genuine Evo 2 on www.carsales.com.au, that is a real car that is a 4WD so you'll never need to worry about Traction hassels.

i had traction issues in my evo 12.050 at 116mph!!!!

Im not saying that traction is a 100% guarentee with 4wd, as im sure ill be battling with this problem soon ( read V8H8A Showcar Post to see mods that are in progress) what i was saying, is that you get more traction via a 4wd system then a FWD/RWD system.

I can understand and share your excitement and enthusiasm when obtaining a bargain - hey, I'm guilty if bragging about it sometimes too but fuk it :lol: I think we all do in a way or another but maybe not to the extent that you have though TIC Good score nonetheless I'm happy for ya :wink:
