i think i've found the problem, something is leaking -pics

im guessing it has to do with the clutch?

Hehe i asked the same question a while ago. Someone put me onto www.VFAQ.com/index-main.html

Go there select 'drivetrain' and under 'manual transmission' is 'replacing tranny fluids'

How's your clutch pedal feel?

How are your brakes?

If they are fine you're ok. Probably just engine oil. More than likely broke a rubber seal around the back of the block somewhere. Keep it clean tho, that stuff's still flammable.

brakes are good
i cant feel a difference in the clutch pedal

thats your 4ws mate...
they are the pressure / return lines going to your rear 4ws pump from the resivour

4ws removal kit =)

check that it isnt oil leaking from the back of the transfer case as that is more common than leaky 4WS lines.

the seal on the xfer case may need replacing (is their a pattern of spray from the xfer case to the chassis and all other parts around it?)

from what i can see, its only on those lines

my friend checked it out, and said it smells like cv grease
