Ecm link is not to be confused with "chipping" which is writing onto a chip then the tunes set till you re write the chip again its more old school. Ecmlink's much more user friendly.

Either way you'll need to figure out if you have an EPROM ecu that is able to be chipped. then you will need to get it "socketed" so you can install the chips into the chip holder. Use the search function on here all the info is already on here.

Well when it stops raining when I open up my ecu would there be a chip in there saying EPROM ?

look there for eprom and non eprom as well as socket or no socket. you will need both the eprom style board and a socket fitted to get either a ecmlink or a reflashed chip

well it wont go when disconnected lol.. but the only thing that will change is it will have to do a qick re-learn because you have disconnected battery

vr401 (Mio) on here does chip modification for our rvr ecus

Basically your ecu is currently fixed. In order to tune you could chip (pre defined tune to suit specific parts) or ecm/ostrich/aftermarket ecu. ecm seems the way to go imo. Springy seem to be doing quite a few of these!

My ecu is MD312467 ... Dose that have the EPROM ?? I could get the ecu out because I'm pretty sure the 2 screws at the bottom and 2 on top wat I can get to
