I'm having an idle issue.. stalls when hot at the lights.

Am I better off buying a new ISC from meek?

and is there's any easier way to remove it? I couldn't get to the screw under the TB.

I think I have LOL

I think forgot to plug it back in, from my parents and it stalled on me twice.

which means its not my ISC.

it's a after market one that i got off the halfcut, its plumb back bov

it started a few days after i got the exhaust done. would it just need a professional tune up?

starts every time.. it does the auto idle till its warmed up but it's round 1100-1300 then settles down to 1000

Weird, something is definately up when it is hot then. Have you done a boost leak test to make sure that isn't the culprit. If not, you might want to do one.

It did have a leak before I got the exhaust done but I fixed it before that. I'm pretty sure there's no leak cause it up and goes. It does spike a bit like 5 or so

Suggestions for stalling problems.
1. Check ISC with a multimeter (refer VFAQ)
2. Pressure test the intake and fix any air leaks (refer VFAQ)
3. Reset the BISS (refer VFAQ)
4. If it's an A spec, try an egr block off plate.

Do NOT just adjust the idle speed screw on the top of the throttle body, it will not fix the problem, it will only make the idle more erratic and possibly worse.

i'll just add this in here too.. ticking noise from engine would because of lifters? where's the best spot to get new one or recommended ones.

To actually fix the problem get a set of the new revised lifters which have a much bigger holes in the top's than the 1st generation ones that you currently have
see here > http://www.meek.com.au/index.php?v=Product&id=172&pcid=12

No, the vr4 ones have much smaller holes in the top of them and they get clogged up if the oil isn't changed frequently. The later generation ones above fit perfectly and are the same size (many people have done the upgrade both here and in the US), and due to the larger hole, don't have the "ticking" problem you are experiencing.

But, it would pay to let one of us other Brissy guys have a listen just to make sure it is the lifters. And check your oil level too in case it's gotten a bit too low and your lifters are just politely letting you know.
