idle surge

wtf causes it

according to my datalogger
the ISC is on 0
other times its on like 70 or something

at first it was bearable
now its just really fucking annoying

how can i stop it?

what do you mean by idle surge?
is the idle jumping up and down or something?

more than likely it is the idle control motor
its located -when looking at the intake for the throttle body, below and to the left.
it could be worn - but sometimes removing and cleaning all the black crap off is a good quick and tempory fix

vaccum leaks ? even small ones can cause erratic idle

yeah you can.. the last one i bought was about $80
check for brittle vac hoses - trim or replace the hoses, sometimes that helps
