Immobilisers

OK so I just got an RVR.. of course being newish it has factor remote central locking.

Now... I have my doubts that it has an immobiliser as well. (any other RVR owners can confirm?)

Is there an immobiliser anyone can recommend that can be made to work with the factory key? It will piss me off royally to have a button on the key that doesn't do anything

I can definitely confirm that mine doesn't have an immobiliser. Took the guts out of the key and it still started OK

Mine came with an aftermarket immobiliser/central locking
