Purchased a custom intake manifold recently spent todat trying to get the cyclone manifold off without much success couldnt get the bolts underneath off...just wondering if anyone in qld or brisbane has any tips on getting it off. If anyones got any spare time i could sure use some help doing it. :p

I remember the first time I had to do this...wasn't fun.

You've taken the manifold support bracket off from the block yeah? (Dumb question I know, but sometimes we all miss things haha)
It might help to take the coil pack off too.

In the end I just had to persevere, I did get it off, but it does help to have a good quality spanner hey.

I'd come give ya a hand if you were on the Southside. :p

Good luck!

Just leave you're stock mani, it provides more than enough flow.
Sell the custom one, you wont need it.
Problem solved :) :p

Lol, you chasing a manifold Dean? hahaha :p
Nah you have a good point though.
But custom intake manifolds look cool!

.....did I just say that aloud?.... :p

yea i actually thought about selling it
but might aswell put it to use...
ive got all bolts off bar bottom 3
cant see how i cab at them at all???

mine was easy as?? not sure where the problem is!

get yourself some cheap spanners and bend them to the angle you need
(not that i needed to)

ROFL HAHAHAHAHAHA
Been there done that and that bracket is an absolute bitch to get off. Cost me 3 weekends of cursing. In the end i dropped the exhaust which gave me enough room to wedge my arm up in there and undo the bolts on the bracket.
