Ok so I've sprung some sort of a boost leak somewhere i am yet to diagnose it exact location but i am smelling exhaust fumes in the engine bay which leads me to think that its the manifold either from the block or to the turbo.
my question is i will need to most likely drain the oil to drop the turbo out and fix it but the oil and filter i put in is barely 100kms old is it a good idea to drain it into a clean container and reuse it or is it best to just replace it? please advise,
cheers.

Filter I'd probs reuse.
Not the oil. Wouldn't wanna risk something falling in whilst ur not watching. :)

Ok find where the leak is first. When it's cold start it, go out, and feel around where the gaskets are carefully to locate the leak.
If its manifold to turbo, remove the turbo bolts, and stud. Slide out the old gasket, slide in the new one. Do up again.
If leaking from the head, remove power steering pump. Undo the turbo bolts. Then undo the nuts holding the manifold onto the head. Remove manifold. Clean surfaces, replace gasket. Refit everything in reverse order.
If dump pipe, get exhaust place to suffer with it :p.

most likely Dump pipe i think from past experience have cracked mine twice.
Boost level seemed to peak at 10psi and not go higher
turbo spool is louder whistle sound like jet engine (awsome sound)
engine rev sounds are like a lumpy RB20 DET (sorry for swearing) and
yes you can smell exhaust from even the front of the car so yea have a sniff and a feel around.

**** dont tell me that it's only been on for a few days... theres 130 and 5weeks of waiting for it to arrive down the drain if thats the case... I will hae a better look 2moro but i couldnt pin point any leaks from the manifold :/ i hope its not something cracked :'(

Found the problem it was the exhaust place that done a dodgey job when they remade the flange for the new dump they didnt tighten it properly and the gasket had pretty much exploded... I've put a new gasket on there just waiting for the seal to cure abit before i take her for a spin.
