Top - VR4 (single piston)
Bottom - EVO (twin piston)

Thanks buddy, looks like i have evo brakes..
Do you recommend i should put the reseal kit through it before i put them on and also will the gsr brake lines fit onto the back of the evo calipers

On closer inspection i think ive been had they are two different fittings on the back of each caliper....what should i do?

yes they fit the Evo calipers.

And it sure does look like you got 2 different calipers.
Damn.

what should i do? im so pissed off right now how can i fit them...the cock sucker even charged me top dollar for postage.

couldnt imagine it posing a problem..
imo they only went banjo on evos so you dont have to either spin the caliper off the line or take the hose off the hard line and unscrew it..

Any chance you can contact the seller and let him know his mistake.
Or you can have one Evo caliper and one VR4 caliper.
Not that I would but I'm a pedantic fucker. lol.

I just left him some bad feed back on ebay hope he gets a strike ....apart from the fittings on the back i cant see any other differances.Does anyone know if their is a difference between evo and vr4 ?

if you are considering fitting the odd calipers just make sure you measure the pistons to see if they are the same size.

but you would be much better off getting both calipers with the banjo fitting,

It just got even worse they have a L on each of them so im guessing that means LEFT HAND SIDE :fuuuuu:

I have had that in the past and it was impossible to get the air out of the lines

Does anyone know this member gsrt085 ? he has the same user name as the dodgy ebayer i bought the brakes off

The top one is an Auspec VR4 caliper, the bottom is Evo.
Both are basically the same thing but with different connections. IF they are both LHS items, you're fukd. Raise a dispute in EBay or in PAYPAL if thats the way you paid. I only ever pay via PAYPAL these days. Works great and protects you in case you dont get what you paid for. You need to raise a dispute within 20 days.
