Just weighed the VR4 gearbox........

Hey guys just weighed the VR4 gearbox i have here.....between 52-53KG without transfer case, and oil drained. Bit left undrained i would wager....

Just thought it might help down the track..... :wink:

no wonder i just about put my back out moving one of these things.
there is nothing really to grab onto, you need 2 people to move these things just about

i was under the car for about 1 hour benching this thing... while my friend was trying to get it to line up from the top

its a killa thats for sure!

i just grab onto the shifter cable bracket to hold it

i found the easiest way to move it was to leave it attached to the mount (unbolt the mount from the chassis) and then attach it to the engine crane, say no to hard labour i say
