4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

Ive put too much time into mine porting or rather smoothing/ polishing and ceramic coating the exhaust to sell it. Unless youve recently robbed a bank and need to get rid of shits loads of cash..plus...I know you changed the name of your first born to mine so you cant throw that in.

you can however take a look see one day

this still seems to fit the bill George....http://store.forcedperformance.net/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=FP&Product_Code=NTDSMFP68HTA&Category_Code=DSM-Turbo

Flow rating - 51LB per minute

Turbine Housing - FP 8CM

will bolt straight up to what you have....same cooler pipes....same oil line...same water line.
Yeah looks like the same, but with the differences in inducer and exducer sizes the point at which your making that 51lb efficiently is more important. If the compressor is overspeeding, you just end up with what i've got now. But I have no idea on any of these FP one's because I cant find any flow maps for them. I'm at work now so I'll starting looking again. :)

Its there now...............................................................waiting....................................waiting.............................waiting

............. Still waiting...........................

I graphed the closest flow map for Jamo's turbo I could find, using flow numbers for my motor, and it looks as thou it would be a good match. I know the FP turbo's are the 'better' option, but part-time, self funded weekend warriors just have to compromise based on budget.

My flow figures are based on:
Capacity - 2300cc
VE - 93% (Using a figure pretty close to stock, because of my standard head)
Pressure Ratio - 2.82 (Target boost 24psi)
Target HP - 430
Max RPM - 6900

Should be fairly close to what I drew on the attached compressor flow map.

As long as your wife's name isn't Lorena you should be safe :p

Flowers before asking about spending $ on a car is always a good idea, throw cooking dinner in too, not beans on toast, I mean a really well thought out recipe that's relatively easy, maybe a foot rub as well. The idea is to get them

to associate parts buying with shows of affection and flowers, this is part of the retraining process all married/committed car enthusiasts must use to keep everything in balance ;)

Thankfully none of our significant others are on here to read any of this
