Hi Guys,

Just thought I'd share some photos of my late model EVO loom adaptor to suit my Galant AMG.

The ECU I am using is an Autronic EVO IV SMD. Basically an EVO IV Plug and play ECU.
I've adapted it to my Galant AMG wiring loom by using adaptors.

This saves chopping your existing loom so no working in an uncomfortable position to get the ECU wired in and is completely reversable.

I'm running external plugs because I have a few things running via the stock plugs int he bay back into the cabin like my Knock Link, Wbo2, Active exhaust system etc.

I fired it up this morning with a dead cold engine. Turned over twice and fired right up.
Idled rock steady at 1000rpm. Base map.
Everything perfect!
A/C, PS and lights barely move the rev needle.

Can't wait to start tuning.

It currenty runs Tomei 260 / 260 cams and Delphi 660cc injectors.

The mission for a family car is going well!

My next job is to make an adaptor loom for the Motec M4 which will be going into an Lancer GSR.

I'll probably try and make a loom that goes from a Galant VR4 to a stock late model Lancer EVO 6 ECU or something.

Should make for a good budget upgrade for a Galant.

its a great tuning ecu Baz.... you will enjoy it.... a little annoying that you may have to run several programs at the same time but, for what you can do with them, i wouldnt complain....

Ive got an SM4 in the VR4 so I'm used to the software. Wideband is wired in to the ecu so i can autotune and log. Just surprised that it fired up so cleanly on a base map and idles so well.
