LED illuminated clusters

Does anybody here know how to turn a stock cluster into this - ?
Looks much better than the stock illumination.

Is it hard to do? This particular one is for sale at the moment ...

i've tried, it can be done, but with alot of led's... the problem with led's is that they have a very narrow beam... you seem to get bright / dark spots if not done correctly, it looks like whoever did that one may have used alot of leds to get it to work... looks good though!!

i'v done it before, you need high brightness LED's 10,000MCD or SMD LED mounted in certain places in the cluster..... you also have to sand back the rear of the cluster plate (where every thing is printed on) as there are green filters on the back that wont let the pure white light through..... not really hard and different ways of doing it, hardest part is taking off the needles on the dials without braking them.....

if you have a spare cluster you dont care about i can make you up a sample....

its a headache of work but you can also do this..... like the new dash's they use board mounted SMD LED's you can change the color of the dials and the needles....

a lil dull in twilight at night its nuts
except u cant control the light as such
some bits a touch duller brighter than other prob bout 3hrs in it
if i done it again id put alot more in etc

just have a few things i need to do but other then that its finished, just need to transplant it into a working dash cluster.... will finish it on the week end and show the finished product soon.... stay tuned...
