Looking for an Evo 4 (Melb)

The SEVS rules really seem to contradict themselves to me..

The Evo 1 to II, III's & 4's were never sold in Australia, so they should qualify, as they aren't competing with Australian delivered cars.

But the later model Evos ARE available new in Australia, but these are the ones you CAN import!!???

Yeah that's right, it's a shame we can't import 1-4s, I'd love a 2, 3 or 4.

if its regd with a 6TREP, etc; usally its ok, but Ive even seen the 6Trep number on the car and its reged as a CJ2A which is a Mirage/Lancer coupe not even a sedan, there are that many E4s like that here

That Mint EvoII has been sold already to a mate up here in NSW, the EvoIII is Kerion's also on forums lives in Japan and buys 1 car a year to drive and then import here as yellow plate its one of the Nicest Yellow plated EIII's Ive seen
