Hey guys, im looking for a GSR 93-95" which has done about 100,000km - 180,000km, still good condition body and engine wise, and is selling between 10-13k. I will pay cash in hand and car must be located in Melbourne, unless your willing to come down.

yeah, i saw them before, i've left a msg in mrgsr inbox, so waiting for a reply. also cars in melb, dont really want to travel out of state for a car :p
Thanks anyway

Sometimes you have to do it. I've bought 3 cars from interstate, all un-rego'd, and they all worked out just fine.

If I was you, i'd pick this up, looks mint.

How'd you get to interstate? Plane then drive down.. Sounds like a good idea really. I might consider that car if i dont come across anything. Thanks.

I'd fly over and check it out, then get it shipped on a truck

Its more reasonable than what you think, plus the prices of cars in Melbourne are abit higher than the rest of the other cities......

how much would it cost to ship it from truck? would it be cheaper to drive it down from there to melb?

drving it down without having it properly checked out could make things turn out more expensive - ie: it breaks down on the the border of VIC/NSW, in which case ud be screwed, cos you have to get an emergency tow truck to get it anywhere, then get it fixed etc etc etc.

Fly up, check it out, if its good and you want it, get it towed down, will probably save you money and a lot of hassles.

having said that, you may buy it, drive it back, and it may be fine! but is it worth risking? :p

my friend got a quote from tnt... 200 bucks to bring a vehicle down from s.a to melb.

they are having a special atm.

guy who bought my car paid 1200 for here to perth.

I paid $195 through Adelaide Car Express in Laverton North. That was industry rates though......

TNT dont do C.O.D which sux if you've maxed out your C.C.

That TNT deal does sound good though, best bet is to do the ring around and ask!!
