I have just fitted a set of Kings Super Low springs and not very happy with the result for the rear. They only dropped about 10mm.The front dropped great and very happy there.Could this be because I'm using gas shocks and holding up the rear a bit.Or is 10mm drop normal for those springs? They have been fitted correctly and are seated properly.Part # for rear is KCRL-46 and KCFL-36SL for front.

It says that the KCRL-46 are the super lows for CC sedans, not coupes. Perhaps thats where the problem is!?

You'd think that you'd get more than 10mm with them!!!

The rear suspension and coil springs for coupes and sedans are the same, so are the fronts (except GSR/EVO fronts). When you install superlows the drop is very noticeable and too low IMO. Perhaps they were marked incorrectly at the factory? Were the nuts on top of the rear suspension bolted all the way to the bottom of the thread or until it stopped?

I thought that, but the superlow listing for CC sedans on the king website doesnt say anythign about coupes, even though the normal length/slightly lowered spring does

Ive checked and they appear to be fitted correctly.Incorrectly marked part # is possible I supposed. There are listings for standard and low.10mm drop just isnt right specially when they say a 50 to 60mm drop is expected.

Prob just a typo ;)

Have they had time to settle? I've found that springs like that usually take a few hundred kms of driving around before they reach their final ride height.

I had lows (not super lows) in my car, and it was a heap more than a 10mm drop.

when i put in superlows, it took some time for them to drop completely; also known as 'setting in'. After few weeks the drop was even more noticeable.

Drive around a couple of weeks and the springs might settle in with the ride height you are after :D

We will see what happens in a couple of weeks :D

Surely it should have dropped more than 10mm- and the fronts would still be high aswell?
I agree,if they were to settle then you would presume both front and rear would settle the same although there is more weight at the front.Do you think the gas shocks would be holding them up a bit?they are very hard to compress and spring back very quickly. They would hold them up a bit but 20 mm sounds a bit much to hold up
