Two choices:

Whiteline Control low
80442 Front (365mm)
80443 Rear (345mm)

Pedders
2103 Front Sports Ryder Coil Spring
2305 Rear Sports Ryder Coil Spring

Anyone got pics of their car with either of the above? I know matress's uses pedders springs.

Anyone got comments? Measurements from ground to lip of front spoiler?

Please help!

hey fella!
i could measure mine for you if you like, but i have the a-spec front and yours is a j-spec... dunno if there's any difference or not.
from what i've heard, the whitelines sit the car higher at the front than what mine is... i think barry has whitelines?

Entaran -50 front & -30 rear makes a good lookin' vr4.
If the front struts are strong, 110mm clearance has no probs.
Very little nose dive & 120 through local corners no probs.
But if you use spongy front struts, then go -30 & -30.

Using KYB Elite G's. The non-adjustable version.

I don't think they're overly spongy. I get a -little- body roll simply due to height.

Just can't decide to match them to whiteline springs or pedders. I'm not fussed about the ride harshness, but I don't want to have to slow to 5kmh to go over any given speedhump.

Which springs give -50 -30? Those whitelines?

whitelines are not low, they are lower than stock (marginally)

mat's car looks awesome lowered.. i'd go for the peddars for looks..
the whitelines for no hassel type driving but a good ride..

I use kings lower sport springs from Anthony and KYB's. Changed my car.
It's 30mm lower front and rear.
I'll like to go corners now too 8)

Entaran are those kyb's you're talking about the dirtra use ones ?
I have the dirtra use ones on mine & I love them.
Entaran my struts had springs on them when I scored them.
They are 2mm bigger in dia than vr4 springs. But I took them
off (too high) & put my reset vr4 50mm lowered springs on.
I'm on 55 profile @ 38psi & it rides ok over speed humps etc.
My daughter Meagan has TEIN HA Adjustable Coilover's set
at -50 & -30. It realy sticks like shit to a blanket. But it is hard
on the butt with recaro's & 40's on 17" rims. --Aldo.

I can't believe you run 38 & 40 psi in your tyres. That's crazy.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "dirtra"....

Suspension:
Stock springs
KYB Elite shocks
Whiteline strut bar (front & rear)
Whiteline 22mm sway bar (front)
Whiteline 22/26mm adjustable sway bar (rear)
Whiteline Castor/Camber kits (front and rear)

^^ Currently in car.

Entaran 38psi in 55 profile tyres stops the growling in corners for me.
38psi in Meagan's 40 profile tyres stops the bastards bottoming out.
Offset rear bottom control arm bushes = a bit of +castor.
I welded washers on the bottom of my front struts = 2 deg neg camber.
22 front bar & strut braces front & rear. Tried a 18 rear bar on the ggsr
& it made it sit flat at the rear, but way too hard to steer. No rear bar.
What tyre pressure do you run & what tyre profile ?

Using stock tyres atm so like 60 profile. And I'm lucky to crack 30 psi.

After hard driving they can be up as high as 36 psi as the heat makes the compressed air expand.

About to swap to 205/55/15's tho and i'll probably continue to run about 32 psi. I set my tyre pressures on gravel, I drive onto the gravel, look for the dust marks and adjust until I get a flat footprint from the tyre. Maximum contact patch :D

I think i'm going to go with the pedders springs.

maybe its too early in the morning but can you plz explain how u set ur tyres?
Do u put some air in drive a metre, check the dust line change air if need be and repeat??

I have a landcruiser with an onboard compressor. I just pump the vr4's tyres up too much and let air out with a gauge until they're correct. (Only ever did this once). Now they sit on 31/32. I repeat this procedure when I get new tyres.

with coilovers can you make it as low as the pedders?

Lower. It's really really bad for your driveshafts tho.

WTF??

Ok thats come out of left field. What do your drive shafts have to do with ur ride height? Or do they get put on funny angles?

drive shaft goes from gearbox/diff to wheel...

lower the whole body of the car... change the angle from the gearbox/diff to wheel.

If it gets flat or POSITIVE... instant recipe for breakage.
