also you have to consider camber

you'll get uneven tyre wear
I personally think a little bit of uneven tyre wear is a small price to pay for improved handling. Plus I find with the slight negative camber that I run on my GSR evens out if you take corners hard enough occasionally ;)

Ok... for the record.

King springs (whilst shit) sit the control arms and driveshafts perfectly level with the diff/gearbox whilst riding on adjustable GAB's.

Pedders springs (Sports ryder lows), riding on ... shocks?, sit the control arms at a upward angle towards the wheel on both front and back wheels, the rear driveshafts also sit at an upward angle to the wheel and the front driveshafts are either flat or slightly up from gearbox to wheel. Gearbox/rear diff sit BELOW the level of the centre of the wheel.

Whiteline springs... I have no idea about so far.

does this mean you can't have a Vr4 look good unless you are doing mean things to the diff?

My car was this low once:

But it was so low it was dangerous. With 15" wheels, on big bumps my exhaust would scrape along the ground. I didnt have and issues with my diff or axles, and I even raced at Heathcote that low.

Sure it looks good, but handles like crap and is dangerous if you bottom out, spin out and crash.

theraka brought his car to the workshop today,
we compared the height of the cars..

basically

stock vs whiteline

difference,
whiteline rear , sits about 1 inch lower (not much, but noticable)
whiteline front, sits about 2 inch's lower

the whitelines still look high.. but not like a boat..

i'd assume whitelines would handle better than the kings due to the rally intention..

also, when u go to low with springs, they can actually fall out of the shocks (if u know what i mean)

i know that whiteline wont go this far
i believe king lows aren't like this either
but king superlows could possibly be..

yeah, after seeing barrys car on whitelines, im definitly going to go for them

i dont want my car to be overly low
and the ride is still very nice even with all the bushings

ah nah, the height is there because there is no engine in that car!!

lol.. i just remembered, no motor in that pic.. lol
