lowering engine on mounts....std bonnet

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

I cut out the support and had a flat piece welded back in. I even left the timing cover on by winding up the rubbers on the radiator support panel.

The whole issue is the owner is a tight ass and would rather spend more time on forums asking questions about how to get around modifying "custom bro'ing it" rather than buy a evo bonnet weather it's a fibreglass or oem alloy evo bonnet

I like you idea though G5R5OL but the said owner has 2 20Cent coins to rub togeather and ask the forum genie's :fuuuuu:

Wow that was really called for....a bit more liberoz belittling of forum members, how unusual:rolleyes:

Isn't this whole scenario as stated in the post earlier, that the owner doesn't want to spend to coin on getting a evo bonnet....... maybe go back and read what you wrote early on in this thread.

I only belittle dickhead idea's and dam stupidity that will cost you more in the long run, so get over it, 99 times out of 100 I'm giving real advise from experience take it or leave it..... but I'll give my honest opinion everytime, just do your self a favour and ask yourself why I've given the responce the way I have ;)

One of my favourite sayings "You can lead a horse to water but you cant make him drink" if i see a thirsty horse I'll offer it some H20 get it.

You have to take Liberoz at face value as thats just the way he is and calls it as he sees it. He can be brutally honest and he can lack some tact in the way he delivers his messages across, but all in all he's an old hand in Mitsubishi forums with a lot of experience and contributions and I think he's good value. Just think of him as a cranky old man... actually when he gets older he may turn out like Walter (the Jeff Dunham puppet) Sorry John lol...

I am damn certain he could buy an evo bonnet if there was one over here. however he likes and wants to retain the standard and only recently painted bonnett.

'I only belittle dickhead idea's and dam stupidity."

so this is you calling me a stupid dickhead?

"that will cost you more in the long run,"

how do you know this ....do you have facts to back this up?

"so get over it, " get over yourself

"99 times out of 100 I'm giving real advise from experience take it or leave it." I will leave it along with all the other negative crap I see you post.......

.... but I'll give my honest opinion everytime, just do your self a favour and ask yourself why I've given the responce the way I have.....usually a negative response with the inference you are a 4g63 god and you know all. all hail john.

maybe you should have been a jockey.....you appear to have a bad case of small man syndrome.

 I should reply to treads when I'm pissed and tired and cranky Bahhaa

as for the facts... yes I've swapped out many drive shaft seals on cut and shut engine mounted 63's to get it under the bonnet. 9 years of fixing gsr's and evo's you get to see the best and the worst of what back yarders do to try and save a penny or two, funny they always end up coming to you to get there penny pinching short cuts fixed and paying more for it in the long run.

Sure they get that short term job done but so far Ive never seen it pay divedends in the mid to long term.

You can do what you will, with what ever car you want, its just my previous experience is what leads me to these statements.

Take it on board, consider it, or think to yourself this dude's talking out his ass, I really dont care, after all you will do what your going to do anyways 8 times outta 10.

But there are the 20%er's that dont take it as me having a personal stab at them, and have thanked me in the long run for free advise given.
