any info :)

cheers J

hehe.. doubt it... i have a habbit of chewing my nails.. if they get long enuf to get dirt under em its a miricale ;).....

hurm..... this is interesting...... i think i need to copy this..... lol.....

Why would I want that!? I need to touch a spot on the car (or wave my hand like a ******) then reach to the back of the door and pull it open!? With my trusty traditional handle I disengage the latch and pull the door open in ONE movement :D

Oh and I still have a cheap and crappy looking patch on my door where the door handle used to live?!

A nice gimmick.

good point about the handle to pull it open... i was acutually thinking... you could just attach a stronger solenoid to your central locking circuit and on a 2 door at least you could use the close button on one door and the open button for the other.. if there is no external handle you dont need a working locking mechanisim after all

I actually used a remote to wind the passenger window down............works well............plus there is an override in the boot incase of electrical failure.

If the battery goes flat a simple 9 volt battery will get the window down, can't see a battery going flat as I run two of them, one under the bonnet, the other in the boot.

I run two batteries too.

With the door issue u could install gulling doors that open automatically. Check out www.xracing.com.au

I think a company we get gear from sells the auto-loc product . I'll check tomorrow.

This is a link to the company in the states.

yeah just use autoloc door solenoids, i have used them in my previous car, click of alarm remote and BAM! door open ;)
