and also how do you know if the slave cylinder is gone?

ive had my master and slave cyclinders both replaced.

any mechanic can do it, doesnt have to be N1. I got mine done at a place across from my dads work in greensbourough.

was around $150 in total i think for the master including install.

hey guys...looks like its happened again...i think.

sometimes its crunching when i shift into 2nd-3rd-4th. only sometimes tho.

but there's abit of fluid around my firewall where the clutch pedal is., not much though, and theres a slight tear in the black rubber seal, and it leaks when i apply pressure on it.

i doubt its my synchros as i just replaced them not too long ago.

does anybody know if i can get user the master cylinder out of a lancer cc? just for trial to make sure its not my clutch or gearbox.

sometimes you can actually get the stuffed cylinder re-sealed....

depending on how bad its faaaarked itself.

last time i replaced my clutch both my master and slave cylinders shat themselves..... had a reseal kit put in the master and had to get a new slave...... no problems since (around july last year)

its been resealed...
cylinder was fine also

bring it back and ill take it back and see what the dudes say..

been down that rd

mate i just spent numerous amounts of time at the shop with mu clutch..
i jus put a heavy duty in my E1 and blew the slave, the pedal gets stuck to the floor. i had both the slave and the master re sleeved in stainless, now after a few experiments it works like it should.. hope that helps ya..

No you cant use normal lancer ones for a gsr - well im pretty sure you cant.

Clean the oil around the clutch pedal first, and see if more fluid is coming out after a while, otherwise its just left there from last time.

I got new master/slave cylinders... and yes it sometimes is a bit rough going into gears, not sure why but eh. Hrms.

Edit: I doubt its your clutch or gearbox, i think your problem is a bit like mine, tell me what you did when you find the answer :) I think its got to do with the slave, perhaps my mechanic didnt put the right replacement back. Beh.
