Mcrae Rallysprint july 3rd kwinana motorplex

There is a rallysprint this sunday at the motorplex run by macrae motorsports. Its the same as the twilight events but a one off event .
It starts about 10 ish and will attract perths best drivers and cars. I had an email saying a few places were left if anyone was keen. Just google it for supp regs and info.

Yeah I hoping to do this series. It looks like a bit of fun not to mention something different from the usual RAC sprints.
FYI if you were thinking of entering you do need a CAMS licence to participate. (L2S)
Also Deiter (Clerk of Course) was looking for volunteers to help if anyone was available?
I'll be up there to have a look as long as it's not raining too hard

Went down to have a look on Sunday. Looked like a very well run event.
The course was long (4.6 km) with a good mix of long runs followed by a couple of tight corners with fences and high kerbs which translates to a stop-start kind of course. Perfect for Evo's
I was lucky enough to do some laps of the course in the sweeper car too so I got a first hand look at it.

It is a great event and feels like a proper rally stage . I did the night ones and its a bit harder to judge in the dark with crappy gsr headlights but looking forward to the next ones in the summer

I hear that, my TME's headlights are crap!
Luckily my Evo 3 came from Japan with HID's installed in the standard headlights and spotties mounted in the lower parts of the front bar
