Hey I?m tying to track down a E6, 6.5 and 7 so I can have a look but so far with my internet searches I have come up with very little. Just wounding if anyone here could help me out with some respectable dealers who deal with these cars.

Thanks

GTA on spencer st. They always have a few of everything. Pricey though.

Why dont you buy private? URMAMA_6.5 just sold his mint TME for 35k

arghh hate the guys in the spare parts section at chaddy mits. i found the sales team better for some reason.

i too am looking for either a 6, 6.5, or 7 around the 30-35k mark.

how much do kamikaze sell theirs for?

best mitsu dudes are the knox dudes

he lets me go into the office and check caps and all!!

latest version...

as for the car, what price range are you looking at?

yeah I?m looking for around the 35-40 mark. I would go for private but I have been burnt before with buying someone ealses problems and don?t want to got through them problems again but if I do find the right car privately I will give it some thought. It?s just difficult to find a place that has some.

where have the other guy got their evo's from?

i would have thought buying a 2nd hand car from a dealer is just as bad as buying privatly,

i traded in my gsr galant cos it was getting too rooted to sell privatly ! dealer ignored all the rattels & the noisy as fuck diff in the gearbox cos he was more interested in the air con & the stereo!

but i suppose u can opt for a warranty & they have a dealer duty of care to upholdd if it spits a gearbox or something withing a set period of time

that?s it, the warranty even if it is only for a few months it is more that enough time to work out if it has problems or not and I can get it fixt

Import an e7gsr through j-spec.com.au

Craig (I think his name is?) will organise a warranty for your car... I think they are 1 year 50,000km or 3 year 100,000km. That's what James did with his (black 300zxtt)

that 300ztt gets around ballarat and is on of Dan's mates, yeah?
but the thing is with importing i want to traid in my other car coz i don't want to go through the crap of tyre kickers with private sales and if i got just to a dealer i woun't get anywhere near what i would if i traided it in. but i might check it out anyway cheers for that.

On the Tomei engine:
The engine internals are fitted with genuine Tomei components in Japan. The book of authenticity describes the components that are fitted into the engine and also a brief process of the labour involved in strengthening the engine. This particular Tomei engine is made for an Evo 6.5 and is the 7th one ever made. If you email Tomei Japan they will tell you from their records that the purchaser of the 7th Evo ?derive? engine was me.

The engine comes with an evo 6 RS (titanium) turbo, an engine owner's book of authenticity and a tomei derive ecu (which boosts 1.3 bar @ 360hp). If used in conjunction with the tomei ecu, it comes with a lifetime warranty from tomei. If used with a larger turbo and a programable ecu it is capable of much higher hp. With the standard tomei turbo/engine a 11.8s quater mile was achieved and 420hp with extra fast spool up (full boost around 3000rpm).

For more info refer top http://www.tomei-p.co.jp/

I believe that you will find that it was sold a little while back.

Damn good buy if you ask me.

Damn! Yeah reading the mods and the spec on the Tommi engine sounded like a nice package!

Not one of Dan's mates.

James doesn't have that many friends to be honest. He's very insular... spends all his time at the karate dojo with his GF who's also a 2nd dan black belt.

Car's sweet tho.

I have found a couple of placers in Melbourne that have a couple of EVO?s and were just wounding if anyone has heard anything about the people, what they are like to deal with and so on

Gran Turismo Autos ? West Melbourne
Kamikaze Motors ? Nunawading

Thanks

I think your going to have to find out for yourself- a car dealer is a car dealer!!

I still think your better off importing your own......
