Gday all, okay blew my head gasket about 2 weeks ago , replaced the head gasket from meek, machined the head and the block was fine. Put all back together and tadah! working .... although, when i open up the throttle it sounds like she out of time ... i checked the timing on the cam gears and crank all is fine and now i have milky oil in the head....

anyone ever come across this ?

You need to jack your car off. Release cars load once in a while

Sounds coolant in the oil. You might have a hairline fracture in your head from when u blew gasket.

did you clean the cam cover galleries?

sometimes coolant will collect in there and appear some days later after the original problem is fixed

Did you flush both the oil and water system completely after the rebuild?
There could easily have been milky oil left in your turbo lines or oil cooler system or oil filter... if they werent flushed, you'll only recirculate the existing milky oil from those add-ons back into the engine.

What's the best way to flush out the engine apart from filling the engine up with oil then draining

Always good to pressure test a head once it's off -just to make sure there's no cracks or corrosion. I hope it's nothing but requiring a flush out though.
