Because Evo 4 onwards, the block was turned 180degrees, therefore turbo's from those models will not directly bolt onto the VR-4 block.

wrong information is worse than no information imo. Especially because most who read it will take it as fact, and then repeat it all over the internet, thus making it harder to find genuine useful information!

How pissed off would you be if you bought an evo4 turbo and then found out you'd need a custom exhaust manifold, custom oil/coolant lines and custom inlet & intercooler piping to fit the damn thing?

Yeah the newest one has the same sorta thing about WRX's and EJ20's.
I didn't know that in the heart of every WRX is a Mitsubishi Turbo?
And I can't believe people bought 22B STI's for $130,000!?

only the earlier model rex's had mitsi turbos (RS and GT legacy's did too), after that they had IHI turbo's

I couldn't agree more. It's not the first time that i've seen garbage printed in relation to Mitsi's on the pages of Hot 4's. Even fast fours and Zoom have their moments. It's not as if it's a spelling error, the information is totally false and misleading. I often use these magazines as an information resource, so when I spend my hard earnt cash as a consumer, I expect to read something other than BS...!!

Team4G. It's cheaper too!
