moroso / obx oil pans

Any one used a moroso oil pan or obx oil pan on there VR4z with out any fitting issues....???

What you think fit or not.......
is our chassis differnt to the Eclipse any one know,

the pan is made for the 4G63 engine but in another chassis/body im worried it could run into something,

they are a expencive oil pan to gamble with so any help would be great

I haven't used one, but a quick check with a tape measure should give you some idea of whether it's going to work or not - nice of them to include a handy diagram with measurements for just this purpose.

Pretty sure Baz was or is running one and it needed a bit of modding to work.

I think baz's issues were with internal crank clearance for the 2.4 crank though

Yeah apparently they are never flat and always need machining (moroso)

I'm using a Moroso pan and it fits fine.

Mine needed alot of work due to the stroker / big rods and girdle.
Apart from that it is all good.

If you are running a 2.0L and no girdle, it should be a straight bolt on.

Overall good quality but mine did leak initially. I had to get some parts re welded to ensure no leaks.

I need 5 Litres of oil to fill the pan each service.
