Yeah it starts today.. The bugatti veyron is only there for 3 days.
and they got GT5 prologue stands..

Got my two free entry tickets from VACC.
I'd better go have a look tomorrow, looks like it's got quite a line up. I've seen it enough on Top Gear so I've got to go see the Veyron. Might be pole-vaulting around the joint though whe I do. :wink:

Well I went today, and thanks to a nice young lady who was at the front of the line- she got some tickets for me so I didn't have to wait in line for an hour.... :wink:
It was my first motorshow, and it will be my LAST!
The place was too packed- wayyy too many people in there- you couldn't move!! The place was filled with kids and prams! How f'n stupid!
Was dissapointed that it wasn't exactly the 'international' motor show as such- there were ALOT of car makers not present?!! Porsche, Mercedes, Mayback, Rolls Royce, Jaguar, Bentley, Chrysler and Cadillac (who are launching their range in Aus soon??) to name a few.
The Mitsubishi stand was in the best spot- but it SUCKED!!! they ruined the cars by putting these cheap and tacky chrome wheels on them- and the EVO 10 was in the worst spot in the whole display- you simply couldnt get a good look at it!! It should have been on the revolving platform down stairs IMO. They did have some sexy girls in their display though. The tallest blondie = dayum.
The only good thing about the show, was that they were serving my new favourite beer at the snack place right in the middle 8)

mitsubishi was shit
bugatti was definitely a stand out, and the new gtr omggggggg... looks much better in the flesh, no net pic ive seen has done it an justice whatsoever.
the toyota drag car was also very impressive.
holden brought out some impressive vehicles.
ford was absolutely shit.
ferrari, lamborghini, maserati, well, as always, what can i say... italians... :wink:
bmw had some nice nice vehicles too.
overall, lets not forget that this is a show for production vehicles, and a few concepts, but i must say that it was dissapointing that there was a 'no show' from some manufacturers.
was very very very dissapointed by mitsubishi, as dre said, evo X was in the worst spot! there was a couple of gaylord lancers with chromies on em with a 'panther' sticker on the side... wtf!! also someone stole the gear knob out of the ralliart colt too lol, but i dont blame em.
