I've organised the day off work. If I can con jon into changing my clutch before then i'll even have a new clutch. Otherwise i'll be driving completely off boost the whole cruise (which will defeat the purpose).

You're going to see the evo bonnet 3 days before it gets fixed/sprayed tho Goes to panelbeaters the following wednesday.

btw, just a question. How many kms you run your new clutch in for roughly?

No idea. It's not fitted. The word is approx 500 city km's. I plan to do a week and a half or so tho, which equates to about 1700 km's for me, but that's all highway jaunts.

oh ok, ehe i wish i went a bit easier on my clutch when i got a new one a few months ago at the start. My mate told me 300kms. I didnt push car untill 450kms, just for a little bit, dam urges!

btw carmella, are you sms'ing the other gsr fellas like when you had the diamond cruises? I can ring one guy i know i guess, ill see what he says.

So thats 5..... 1000kms of city driving for a clutch, but you can get away with 750.... Thats what I ran my clutch in on...

call me irresponsible, and impatient, but last time i changed my clutch i think i ran it in for only like 2 days............

mind you, the mechanic said on leaving..... "go easy on the clutch for at least a week........." to which i replied - "yep, no worries" shortly before stalling in the driveway..... shame shame shame

drove it nicely for about 2 days before some lost c**t pulled up at the lights next to me in a WRX with some 19" chrome rims and the biggest muffler i have ever seen :shock: , couldn't resist.

Im trying to get some of the EVO OZ and GSR//CYBORG guys to come down, what happened to the ballarat guys in their cordias n shit, someone should advertise on the cordia and starion sites, so we can get at least 10!

we got 5 so far, should be able to double that by next weekend, im trying to get djcharliek in his EVO VIII to come 8)
