Dunno if I love them but just thought someone here might be interested..

the thing about all aftermarket tail lights that let them down is that there is a gay ass circular piece where the reflectors go..
stock ftw..

yeah thats there for evo 2-3's rear foglights ... but yeah true your right dean - they look pretty ridiculous .. maybe if they made it square instead

Here's a clear set on the Mrs car :) Hey, it's her car and she wanted them for her birthday  They actually suit the pink better than the stock lights do because she's got chrome rims too.

I think the Black ones look better than the chrome ones.

Not as bling but they seem to suit a white evo/gsr.

I guess you just have to see tham in person.....

Here is Ricks V8H8A:

I kinda like the tinted/black ones... I have seen them on ebay a few times, and have pondered purchasing them .. But, have better things to spend the money on at the moment...

see what i mean..they're all ugly coz of that circular piece of shit in there!!
would look much better if it was simply plain black
the best ones tho by far is the ones that are painted red...

I have a set that I am planning on opening up and painting the chrome but I havent decided which will look better ( they were only available in chrome when I bought them 3 years ago!).
My choices are:
Flat Black,
Coarse grey (the colour of my car)
Metalic black (I saw a new Pajero today and I like the look of it's rear lights)
I also was not a fan of the boot reflector (EDIT:) part of the clear tail lights assembly so I replaced it with a painted blank from a standard Lancer.

hm.. i actually want nice headlights ... remember someone showing a pair ages ago but was not available in australia or something...

anyone seen anything similar pop up?

how can you not?! maybe cos you have the clear tail lights? i think they really suit and complete the back of our cars! evo foglights would be better though!

My EVO 3 dash has them push in foglight buttons above the driver's side vent, but I'm gonna wire them up for something else  Here's a question, when you have them pushed in, is there anything at all that tells you they are on? or do you drive around not knowing that they've been depressed?

i got mine wired up to come on with the normal driving lights, and changed the globe from the 20W foglight to a 5W one - like the same brightness as the tail lights when not braking. :)

the only thing that can tell u that they are on is the factory foglight switch is wired to the parkers so once your keys are out that buzzer noise to tell you the lights are on is on.

Thanks guys. So basically if you were gonna use them for lights you would include like a small LED somewhere otherwise you wouldnt know if they were accidently pushed in during the day while driving. Because I've got a coupe with no rear foggies, I might look into wiring one of them up for my Varex exhaust instead of using the remote control (no need to know if its in or not as you'd hear it  ) and I'm sure I'll find some other use for the other one
