Hey guys, new to the Mitsi Evo Scene. Pretty Sure Ill be spending a bit of time on here. Im a car nut and spend to much of my time on carsales dreaming about cars to buy.
Came across a Red TME from Perth and within the hour it was mine. Bought it sight unseen but had to jump on it as the sellers phone hadnt stopped ringing.
Just got it registered to Vic Reg today and Ill work out my plans with it in the next few week. Since buying it sight unseen I was a little nervous as to what I was purchasing.
The car is fantastic and better than i hoped for.
I would like to chase up some history on the car however not to sure where to start.
I know it was imported from Japan into Sydney in 2012 but not to sure how it ended up in WA
Hopefully someone on here may shed some light on its past.
Also whats the best way to post a pic
Keeps saying my files are too large.(approx 3.5MB)
Cheers Alex

Yeah. Tell me about it!

Can't believe the original owner bought all that "Ralliart" extras. The exhaust was made locally :D

Thanks guys. Rapt to see an Evo for 90K but no chance it will sell for that. Cant believe the options list, although I think in terms of value I feel the sunroof option may detract from the collectability. I know with aircooled porsches and E30 Beemers that they are worth more money with sunroof delete.
Im trying to upload a couple of pics and will get there soon once i figure it out.
The Evo was a 4A grade import in 2012.
Northshore Prestige Motors in Complianced the car in 2012.
I believe the final 2 owners were from WA and the reg was 1EVO886 WA plates when I purchased it.
In terms of mods
It has the 3 round Ralliart gauges below the CD player.
I noticed a TOMEI dump pipe and what looks like 'GD' embossed on the exhaust tip.
I will take it to TechSport in Bayswater in a few weeks and get them to go over it

This post was just brought to my attention. *I* was one of the guys who offered more than the car was advertised for...

The $90k TME at Classic Throttle Shop was an Australian Delivered car and has since been sold. Not sure how much for though...

I can't believe the car was a Grade 4A in 2012. You lucky bugger... it was exactly what I've been waiting for.

Sorry Straj. I was so lucky to jump on carsales when i did. When I called(about 1 hour after the add was put on) he already had a low ball offer. Even after I agreed to pay the asking price, he felt obliged to call the guy who made the first offer and give him first crack at meeting the advertised price.

I never found out what offers he received in the end, however he did say that if i wanted to flip the car he was happy to pass the numbers on.

How long after it was advertised did you see it?

Sounds like you beat me to call him by 2-3 hours. Although, my call resulted in me leaving him a Voice Mail message. He called me back much later than my call... such is life.

What did it cost you to transport the car from WA to the east coast? PM me if you like...
