You have a lot to learn about cars pal.

i have alot to learn about 'these cars'. Our typical front wheel drives and rear wheel drives are pretty simple, lots of parts, lots of knowledge, once a person gets into these 'never seen before in canada' cars, it a whole different story. it's like owning a custom car.

The car is 16 years old. You cant expect it to be in perfect condition. Even if it had onlly 25,000km on the clock you would still need to replace alot of the bushings etc. Also, the car is modified! Thats why I said "you have alot to learn" because once you start modifying a car (or buy one already modified) then there's ALWAYS something to fix. Its the name of the game.

If you guys have DSM's and/or CSM's over there, then 'never seen before' is rubbish. Its a 2G eagle talon AWD/Eclipse in a Mirage body.

Im VERY surprised that there's not a locally made car with the same part.

Look at how many models have the same part number!

Did you even try JNZ tuning??

Yeah, none of those were sold in North America. You can get crap like trim pieces or body panels easily enough, problem is unlike AUS which had a CC GSR, none of the North American Mirages had 4WD which really cuts down on the parts commonality when it comes to stuff like drive shafts and suspension. The closest thing would be the 4WD Plymouth Colt Vista/Mitsubishi Expo/RVR/Chariot, but still it only shares a couple of things.

I think I'll just sell mine if the CV starts to go. Sort of like Honda timing belts - let someone else take care of it.
