need Freight advice please!

i bought something off ebay that was 'pickup only' but was in NSW. I had the intentions of a courier picking it up for me and the selller was fine with that. now its 2 decent sized items and they need to be packed to protect them in shipping so i found a company that packs them and sends them called 'packsend'! i got an online quote but they never got back to me and now after the auction has already been won i called em to see whats up and they have told me they cannot pick the item up, it must be dropped off at a pack send center!! im like faarrk! Ive sent a very cheerfull email off to the sender asking him pretty please if he can drop it off to one but im half expecting him to tell me to stick it as it wasnt part of the deal. so in the event of that happening, does anyone know of any freight companys that will actually pickup from a residential address, and pack the items for protection? it will be a big help!!!

pack & send are great, you are best off ringing a melbourne branch and organising everything thru them

how about any of the guys off the forum? whereabouts are the parts you need to get picked up?

Do you know anyone (friends/family) in NSW that could
pick up the item + drop off at Packsend for you?

with the freight companies i deal with you have to always have the part packed and ready to go.

Yeh thats a problem, havent heard back from the seller yet but if he cant/wont drop em off i might have to trust a courier to take em to his local pack and send outlet, and just hope been what i assume is a relatively short trip he wont damage the unwrapped parts in anyway,

or my next option would be drive my ford transit up there and pick it up myself....any one need anything picked up/delivered to sydney/newcastle areas?! help me pay my way up there! hahaha i got a 2 tonne van!

there up near newcastle actually but all good the guy is a legend and has agreed to drop em off at the pack and send centre so problem solved!!
