Need help with front drive shafts!!

OK so I just went to take my front struts off, and like an idiot I didn't put a block under the front wishbones.. now I think the driveshafts have popped out, not at the transmission, but at the concertina joint thing... is this basically fatal or can I pop them back in and be OK?

looks like a trip to a drive shaft shop to fix em cant be put back in.

Oh for the LOVE OF GOD!!! Do you think a mobile mechanic could come and do it? I can't exactly remove them myself

Are you sure they can't just be popped back in? It seems like it came out too easy to be held in with a circlip or whatever.. I might wake up at 6am tomorrow and see if I can't get the boot off and have a look. I have calmed down now, although I nearly went INSANE with the horror of it all lol.. the other day with the mechanic.. pah

Darn.. seems theres a freaking snap ring that holds them in.. nice job it did do holding them in!

hub end or gearbox end of the driveshafts?

if it's the cv on the gearbox end, they just slide in (and out) easily.
