i might be wrong but i dont think there is such thing as a stock BOV? i think all Turbo's come stock with a wastegate???? 35mm i think? size of the turbo depending of cause..

well i need something that will get me through vehicle roadworthy inspection. i currently have a hks one fitted.... so i need something as close 2 stock as possible... anything 2 get thru inspection..

i have a spare gsr bov (and yes, it is most definately a stock bov!), its currently on lewis' evo 3 rally car.
If he no longer needs it you can borrow it to get through regency.
Are you on the mitsubishi gsr/evo forums?
might be more useful, since theres lots of adelaidians on it.

Rick not all turbos have a wastegate, however some have internal wastegates and require a blow off valve whether stock or not, evos have a stock blow off valve, even yours has one: Circled in red is the stock blow off valve assembly in your car.
If a turbo has no internal wastegate then you put on an external wastegate and plumb it back into the exhaust to make it legal(sounds better vented externally with a screamer on ,but illegal)...(looks to a certain individual :wink: :lol: )

yeah just get a nice piece of tin, take you BOV trace the bottom of it onto the tin. Cut it out and drill the holes. Get some rubber, salastic or cardboard or something to seal it up and off u go!!! (note: tin needs to be of decent strength as some pressure does apply)
Do a good job that way you can keep it for the next time you get caught!!! like me

yea apparently its a plastic black thing. iv been quoted around 30 bux for a new 1.... if ne1 wants to get rid of one i'd rather buy one from team4g... support tha boys :lol: :lol: :lol:
