new 97 RVR HSGR owner

Hi,

just got myself a 97 RVR HSGR. Taking delivery this weekend.

has 165xxx km on the clock and paid just under $3K for it.

just need to know, are there mechanics in Melbourne that specialize in these?

cheers mate... ended up going to JAK motorworks.... had to get a new clutch fitted, service etc

yeah, they are a rare beast... have only seen 1 other RVR around, and that was around preston.. exchanged waves at the lights haha

Manual HSG with 165ks for under 3? is that standard in AUS? HSG's are rare as here, manual's are a whole another story haha

I've got a manual as well. I paid 2k € for it. With 133ks. Don't know how much that is in aus dollars.

Are you going to find another chrome mirror cover or remove the other one as well?
What happend to your blind spot mirror on the left front guard?

I did buy it off Ebay, without test driving or anyone having a look at it... so i think i just got lucky there, I think most go from anywhere from $6-8k... ended up costing just under $5k with new clutch fitted and service etc.

not too fussed about the mirror.. did not buy the car for its looks! haha..
blind spot mirror got ripped off going through a car wash... i have it in my glove box, just needs to be screwed back on.
