VR-4Squid, a little off topic, I'm just curious to know how does your car cope with the centre diff being locked, are you breaking things alot?

Haven't broken anything yet *touch wood*, but i've only done a handful of launches in the dry so far. . . .
Only done about 3500km with the locked centre and 5 puck tho, so it's early days. I expect things will change once she sees the dragstrip :?

I got my clutch from jim berry qld,it was very well priced,is a solid centre so is a bit noisy on the road but loves the launch at the track

While we're on the topic of clutches, I'm 95% sure I fried mine on the weekend too- smoking a liberty GT wagon better not be the gearbox :cry:

So i take it you won?
Not that i beleive there is such a thing as winning at the lights coz you never know how much each other is prepared to do but.....

I have a liberty gt and a gsr and i reckon my gt would win easy, in a straight line on tarmac of course.

have to check back through my reciepts,but think it was under a grand purchase price,not 100% sure what sort of clutch it is,was only told by the mechanic who ordered and fitted it that it was solid centre...have used it a few sprints and hillclimbs with some heavy launching and it seems great
