Hey our cars are getting that old now you may find them in Hot rod magazine or classic cars
But I think hot 4's is a bit outta date I see a lot of Six's on the streets now so hot 4s is not really relevant. They use to be very grass roots now but you need a lot to get in. We need a mag that covers the cap between the boys with the 15k paint and 40k engines. BRING BACK GRASS ROOTS! I say!
We should do our own mag! Or maybe we could have a feature car per month! There is a few people around who take great photos. F.ck the mags lets us get their advertising money!

fast fours is pretty bad these days too, i saw an article not long ago where they were rating 4cyl engines and they gave the SR20 first place over the 4G! what are they smoking?
I love zoom / boost as its not bling. More big power cars and also alot of back yard built cars.
The tech sections, even though they are pretty simple at least they arnt like how to change a wiper blade i read in an autosalon mag i have at home haha.
Good to see other people liked speed, it was the mag that i read when i got into imports, why do people recon it didnt sell? i was not a happy camper when they pulled the pin.
People with no knowlege of a car like bling insted maybe?

Yeah I think you're right. I know I'm more appreciative toward 'average Jo' who has spent a long time working the long hours and hard yards on his own car to get it to a great final product. When I see some drug lord spend over $100,000+ during a three month build of a show pony I just switch off and dont appreciate their 'effort' lol :lol:
I think I'm more inclined to a 'People's Mag', and Zoom was like that where I'd finish reading a story and go 'good on ya mate, you've done a great job on the car and should be proud'. :thumbsup:

Hot4s has always (well, as long as I can remember) been total trash. Fast 4s lost me years ago, but I was an always an avid Zoom reader up until recently, though I don't much like the way it's changed after they cut all the staff, and later turned it into Boost.
Race is excellent, and Sports Compact Magazine gets pride of place next to my bog every quarter :lol:
