New PB!! Galant VR4 street spec

UPDATE!

I have achieved a new pb!!

Here is a quick run down.

Car:
pump BP98 fuel - full tank
Drove it to the track (1 hr away)
Drove it home
Tyre pressure 36psi (street pressure)
Run down the track as is on the street except for the added helmet and number plate block off.
Roll cage added since last heathcote run (11.08@132mph)
Manual shifting without any flat shift ecu - switching used
No launch control used

1st run -
no launch

2nd run -
no launch with dry ice

3rd run -
light launch with dry ice

I am very glad that the car is doing what it should be doing.
Still plenty more in her.

I'm hoping fullboost or hpheaven has some footage....

Is the cage suitable for you to keep coming back and racing? Is there anything else you need to do (ANDRA licence etc?)

The dude at scrutineering said that the cage is good for 9s!!
He informed me that there are faster cars out there with cages worse than mine.

I'll play with the launch next time, now that I know the car won't break going down the track.
Last thing I wanted was to break it off the line and not have any decent passes.

Next time out I'm going to play with tyre pressures and launch control (boost off the line).
