Newby Question maby, but built in ignitors in these?

Got a set of coil over plug coils off ebay and hoping they have inbuilt ignitors.
Eg can the be hooked up to the an ECU directly?

I bought the same COP setup for my coupe as with a sheetmetal intake manifold and FPR and aftermarket fuel rail etc, you dont really have a place where to mount the stock coils and ignitor - plus the COP's are a lot neater looking IMO 8) . I was gonna use them with aftermarket CDI or dual channel ignitors with my Haltech but unfortunately the coils foul on the under braces of the coupe bonnet. Guys with sedans wont have any problems though I'd imagine, so I reckon I'd be selling my COP setup very soon, just gotta check with my mate if he wants them first.

Actually I'm sure the DSM boys have wired the COP's into factory setups for a neater finish (instead of using leads and factory coils) but they were used more for a neater finish rather than performance mod unless you had an aftermarket igntion system to go with them.

I've only got after market as the car came without any wiring or fueling system at all.

Your twin x2 ignitor system sounds ok though. Just would have been nice to hook it direct to the wolf 3d.
