Next modification for a GSR?

Okay I want to know what the majority of people would buy after they had an exhaust, bigger intercooler+piping, td05 16g, avcr.
I was thinking injectors and safc.
Every and anybodies input would be good.
 
depends what your plans are with the car.
but id go evo bolt ons
evo ecu, evo afm, evo injectors, bore out your intake mani, evo t/b
this will give u a nice lil weapon

Yeah Evo injectors are on there way.
Mainly chasing a bit more power without spending big bucks on a new turbo.
 
the evo turbo will do what you want!!

the safc will probably do the job but you should also look into some of the other chips on offer which should handle the job a bit better, I think they are still being sold EPROM- some1 here might know by who. Good bang for buck!

not really familiar with EPROM .. :confused:
 
Anybody have any information about how I'd go about getting some bigger cams for the GSR.
I know for an evo they are fkn piss easy to get your hands on some but for a GSR a tad more difficult.
 
You can get Cams for a GSR from RPW in WA, or get your standard ones reground (built up, then ground to what you want then hardened) at any number of places, WADE is a name I have heard that does it in Melbourne.
 
I wouldn't bother with cams on a GSR. Do the turbo upgrade and wind a bot more boost into it.

My mate is running a GSR engine with a 14B, 450cc injectors and EVO ECU in his Coupe and it pulls hard on 15psi.
 
upgrade your pump (walbro, EVO etc) and get min510cc inj (pref 550/560). take out all i/c pipe restrictions (esp t/b elbow), upgrade to EVO 4+ BOV or aftermarket. tunable ECU for fuel and ignition timing and 2 hrs on the dyno. upgrade clutch to ralliart pp and street disc if not already. air filter (K&N insert or similiar) and check properly for boost leaks.

MAX 16-17psi for daily (occasional 20psi for drags say) and keep revs below 7k. in this state you may be lucky but if you flog it day in and day out your 1.8 will grenade.

don't bother with cams, t/b you will have enough there for 160awkw.

ps don't skimp on proper tuning
