depends what car are you talking about? usually they are beneath the glovebox on the passenger side on the left wall

Not sure with rvr but the ecu has 3 plugs going into it on my 4g63 motor. If that helps. Also follow the engine loom going through firewall

It's as stated.
2 10mm bolts hold it in. It's a pain to get comfortably.

I know evo 8 will. If 9 is same as 8 then it will.

I have a EVO 8 MR BOV on mine. It's metal unlike the plastic factory one or the plastic Tomei BOV I also had on the car. It holds boost a lot better than the Tomei and the stock item.

lol... got my car up and running but now i need a BOV....

They don't hold the boost well. Mine was leaking at 15psi and it was driving me crazy with the sound it made leaking. It took me a while to find out where that sound was coming from but pressure test was success.

maybe i should be i should do a pressure test, but george a mechanic who came and scan checked that my car is running ok so far so good besides the weak battery

There's a brand new 8MR Bov on ebay for ~$160. Just buy that and be done.
