PROXY BIDDING SERVICE:
NZJDM primarily offer a Proxy Bidding Service where we bid for items you want after crediting your account with your desired maximum bid.
If you are wishing to purchase items from New Zealand’s Domestic market with NZJDM via “Trade me”; please ensure you contact us as early as possible, to allow us to contact the seller and confirm there willingness to pre-pack and prepare the items for domestic, inter-island transport (if required) and/or direct transport.
While Trademe is like Ebay in many ways, some sellers are not prepared to make the effort to suitably package or assist in organizing freight. We will endeavor in all cases, to provide the most cost effective option for transport and shipping for your items and whilst we do have the capacity to pick up many items in the central north island, please be aware we cannot force sellers to post/freight items.
It is also important to remember these are auctions. NZJDM will not be held liable for any misadvertised, faulty/damaged parts or change of mind. We have a no returns policy as we are purchasiing on behalf of you the buyer. Whilst NZJDM makes every effort to ensure a seller is genuine and the parts are as described, the liability lies with the end purchaser (you). If you are unsure of anything, ask and we will get the information for you where possible and also advise if we dont feel comfortable proceeding based on a sellers manner or history

We require payment of your maximum desired bid in AUD plus $5 telegraphic transfer fee before proceeding with placement of any bids.
Should you wish to bid higher during an auction ie: if you are outbid; we will notify you promptly and we are happy to bid higher at your request. If you require this service please provide us with a valid Australian mobile phone number and be ready to take our call!
Upon completion of a successful auction, NZJDM will provide an interim invoice including item cost, freight estimate, NZJDM fee and appropriate duty/GST/taxes (if applicable). Once freight costs are confirmed and your updated total is paid; your item will be sent to our New Zealand warehouse ready for consolidating into our container.
Any unsuccessful bids will be refunded back to you ASAP.
NZJDM FEES:
Items costing $0-$50NZD flat rate $15AUD
Items costing $50-$250NZD Flat rate $30AUD
Items costing $250-$500NZD Flat rate $50AUD
Items costing $500+NZD flat rate $50 plus 5% of the original item cost
NZ DOMESTIC FREIGHT:
NZJDM's NZ base is in Hamilton, in New Zealand’s North Island.
All NZ freight charges are charged AT COST. Estimates are based on the sellers quote and our experience & regular items using NZ Post; for larger and heavy items please ask as for a quote. Please be aware that this is an estimate and your item may cost more or less to send and any difference will be credited/requested.
Whilst we will try to be accurate, it is your (the customers) responsibility to select the correct item category when estimating.
AUS DOMESTIC FREIGHT:
NZJDM's Aus base is Melbourne and we encourage customers to pick up their items from us where possible. Presently we are based in South East Suburbs. Interstate buyers will be charged freight AT COST. We like to use www.e-go.com.au as we find them reliable and extremely economical for bulkier items, we use Aust Air Express overnight bags for smaller stuff.
SHIPPING/CUSTOMS DUTY/QUARANTINE:
All items that are imported in our consolidated sea freight is subject to standard Australian import duty (10% of item cost) and GST (10%).
Some small and light items may be able to be posted direct to you and are not subject to duty if their value is less than $1000AUD. This is at the seller and NZJDM's discretion. Please contact us.
NZJDM don’t hide any costs and will provide all purchasers with an itemized invoice clearly showing all costs involved in providing you with your ideal item for less!
